Recycling
Program
Marathon Township is participating in the Lapeer Community Recycling
Program. So far, records show that not many Marathon Township residents
are taking advantage of the program. It’s a good feeling to know that
by doing our part will make life better for our children and
grandchildren. Collections are on the first & third Saturdays of each
month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. First Saturday at Lapeer Cinema on
Demille St in Lapeer. (Except July & Sept which would be the 2nd
Saturday) Third Saturday at North Lapeer Recycling 5728 Lapeer Rd.
(Deerfield Twp). Accepted are Newspapers, magazines, paper, cardboard,
tin, steel cans, plastic and clear glass bottles and jars.
Please flatten cardboard, metals and plastic
if possible and remove all items from bags at drop off
